Head out along the Chamber Cove Trail to visit the wreck site of the USS Truxtun. Then, pay your respects at the Echoes of Valour monument - a dramatic sculpture and outdoor exhibit that pays tribute to lives lost and courage found. Today, St. Lawrence is best known for its soccer teams, who have represented Newfoundland in national competition more times than all other provincial teams combined.
