 I was pleasantly surprised to have stumbled across this website on the Burin Pennisula. Very impressive and informative. I will be forwarding this site as a link to people who live in NC including a travel agency that plans on visiting Newfoundland in 2009 or 2010. Well done!!! This is an excellent website!! I have been browsing through it and it is so easy and certainly covers everything. We have been members of the Heritage Run Tourism Association for the past year and we are VERY impressed. It has worked really well for us over the past summer. The staff at the Tourist Info Center at Goobies have been very helpful. We look forward to continuing our Membership.

We have just returned from a wonderful 12 day family vacation in the Fortune/Grand Bank/ Frenchman's Cove and St. Pierre areas. All good except we were very disappointed with the Fortune Head Interpretation Centre. We had attended a talk earlier the summer about the finds at Fortune Head and looked forward to the Centre. We found it not very informative and the staff were not knowledgeable to the few questions we asked, including directions to the reserve itself!
